FAQs about YETI® insulated jugs and pitchers
What is the difference between a YETI® jug and pitcher?
While both our jugs and pitchers feature kitchen-grade 18/8 stainless steel and double-wall vacuum insulation to keep drinks ice-cold or piping hot for hours, the main difference comes down to what you’re using it for: YETI® Jugs (including our Rambler® 1/2 Gallon, Gallon, and Silo™ range) are built for hauling heavy-duty hydration on site, to basecamp, or the side of the pitch. They feature 100% leakproof lid designs and a sturdy handle so you can throw them in the back of the car without worrying about spills. YETI® Pitchers (available in 34 oz and 64 oz sizes) are crafted specifically for hosting. They feature an internal DuraSip™ ceramic lining for easier cleaning – whether you're serving batch coffee or camp margaritas – and a Twist-to-Lock MagSlider™ lid built for smooth, splash-resistant pouring. If you need all-day hydration, grab a jug. If you're keeping the good times flowing around the patio or camp table, go with a pitcher.
