The YETI Sunday Roast is an updated take on the traditional Sunday Roast. An all-star lineup of chefs will be creating modern, wild iterations of familiar dishes, whilst staying true to the time-honoured format, all served in an unforgettable outdoor experience at Nick Weston’s Shepherds Barn.

Enjoy a reception with a warm cocktail and small bites, followed by a seated, communal dinner cooked with live fire. The meal will consist of familiar components, like a roast meat centerpiece, potatoes, vegetables, and stuffing, with iterations suited to the season, location, and chef’s preference.

LOCATION: SHEPHERDS BARN – Based in the village of Firle, East Sussex
This remote building on East Sussex’s Firle estate was previously an old threshing barn built in 1820, but nowadays it houses most of the Hunter Gather Cook’s events and classes. Restored into a formidable freestanding kitchen, Shepherds Barn provides a mix of wilderness and warmth in a unique space that allows for shared conversation around the finest feasts.
Per the HGC site, “when you’re in the wild, you have to have your wits about you.” Please come prepared with sturdy footwear and a waterproof jacket.
